The forum under the Department of Economics organizes
Seminar/Workshops/Conference/Survey and field studies with the objective
of giving practical exposure to the students and creating awareness about
the various socio-economic problems including environmental issues and to
stress and motivate the students for self-employment. |
MARGHERITA COLLEGE SCIENCE SOCIETY

| The society working towards popularizing science
in the catchments area. The college has adopted Ketetong village as a model
science village. The society organizes workshops,Symposia,Seminar
presentations, Science exibitions,Scientific Research activities and Science
quiz under its motto 'Science for all'. |
MARGHERITA COLLEGE TRIBAL STUDY CENTRE

| The Centre conducts research and surveys with
the objective of preservation,study,and documentation of the area's rich
tribal culture, traditions and practices including their arts and crafts.
The centre houses a Tribal Museum and is developing a Tribal Studies
Library. |
MARGHERITA COLLEGE YOGA CENTRE
|
| The yoga centre in the campus imparts yoga
training and conducts practice camps under experts. The centre is open twice
in a week for yoga training and practice. |
MARGHERITA COLLEGE WOMEN STUDY AND
DEVELOPMENT CELL
|
| The cell is engaged in promoting and
facilitating research-based projects among women. It possess a good
data-base and has association with various other organizations and
institutions. |
