The National Service Scheme(NSS) develops a sense of social responsibility
in students through a variety of social welfare and development
activities. The student desirous of participating in these activities can
join the Margherita College NSS wing. |
NCC
|
| The College NCC wing imparts training to
students interested in Army, Navy and Airforce.It inculcates the spirit of
discipline, patriotism and community service. |
SEMINAR/CONFERENCES /WORKSHOPS

| The College has been organizing a number of
important Seminars, Conferences & Workshops on academic as well as
socio-economic and policy related issues like Examination Reforms,
Institutional planning,VAT,SHGs,Nature
Conservation,Enterpreneurship,Micro-credit and Prof.Md.Yunus sustainable
agriculture, Participatory development strategy & Organic farming in recent
time. The college has the distinction of successfully organizing an
International Conference on "Regional Economic Co-operation among the
four Asian Nations:India,China,Myanmar,Bangladesh " in 2004. |
