The college runs a Career Guidance and Entrepreneurships Bureau, where students can approach for proper updated guidance and counseling to face the challenges and keep track of today's rapidly changing career prospects.

| The College has the distinction of possessing
two University recognized Ph.D. guides in the faculties of Commerce and
Economics.

| The College organizes a number of participatory
co-curricular activities such as Inter-College debates,Quiz,Annual Sports
festivals, Art Competition, Literary meets, Environment Awareness
programmes,etc.

| The college arranges different types of
Excursions, Study tours, Field surveys, Industry visits, visits to wild-life
habitats, Nature camps etc. to give a practical bias to student's exposure.

| The college has a fully equipped modern and
functional soil testing unit under the department of Agro-Service.

ORCHID CONSERVATION |
| Development of Orchid Germplasm conservation
with fully equipped Tissue Culture Laboratory is in the process.

MARGHERITA COLLEGE HEALTH CARE SERVICE |
| The college initiated a health care service to
the needy students of this region through an Ambulance. To upgrade the
physical, mental & spiritual health of the students, a YOGA CENTRE is being
run in the college premises.
